DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
As part of our booking policy, we request a damage deposit for your stay at Casa Maguy. Upon check-in, we will authorize a temporary hold on your credit card for this deposit. No charges will be applied unless damages are found during the check-out inspection. Please consider that the amount may either appear as a pending transaction or a temporary debit, depending on the bank's policies.
We take great pride in maintaining our property and want to ensure a great experience for all guests. After your departure, if no damages are identified, the authorized hold will be released. Please note that any damages beyond normal wear and tear may result in deductions from the deposit.
Please note that a charge will be applied for towels ruined due to make up stains or hair dying products.
We kindly inform our guests that in the event of a lost key, there will be a charge of 50 euros.

To comply with Portuguese law, we kindly ask all our guests to fill out a form that provides the necessary information required by the Serviço de Estrangeiros e Fronteiras (SEF). The specific law we are referring to is the 'Lei de Estrangeiros' (Foreigners Law). FOR PORTUGUESE RESIDENTS: Please consider that documents submission is required for all guests regardless of their residence. Failure in submitting IDs will result in not being able to access the property.

TOURIST TAX
In accordance with Albufeira regulations, all guests 13 years and older are required to pay a Tourist Tax, which is not included in the booking fee. This tax is €2 per night per person (for a maximum of 7 nights) during high season (April to October). This will be collected through an online payment link that will be sent to you before check-in.
