DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
As part of our booking policy, we require a damage deposit for your stay at Casa Maguy. At check-in, we will place a temporary hold on your credit card for this deposit. No charges will be made unless damages are found during the check-out inspection. Note that the amount may appear as a pending transaction or temporary debit, depending on your bank’s policies.
We take pride in maintaining our property and want to ensure a great experience for all guests. If no damages are found after your departure, the hold will be released. Any damages beyond normal wear and tear may lead to deductions from the deposit.
Please note that there will be a charge for towels damaged by makeup stains or hair dye products.
If a key is lost, a charge of 50 euros will apply.

AIMA (Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum) COMPLIANCE and GUEST REGISTRATION:
All guests must provide ID to access the property.
To comply with Portuguese law, all guests must complete a form with information required by Agência para a Integração, Migrações e Asilo (AIMA).
FOR PORTUGUESE RESIDENTS: Document submission is required for all guests, regardless of residence. Failure to provide IDs will prevent access to the property.
To simplify this, we have partnered with [Vikey.it](http://vikey.it/), a trusted platform for registration. You will receive an email with a link to the form a few days before arrival. Follow the instructions to complete it electronically. Contact us if you have any issues.
TOURIST TAX
According to Albufeira regulations, all guests aged 13 and over must pay a Tourist Tax, not included in the booking fee. The tax is €2 per night per person (max 7 nights) during high season (April to October). Payment will be collected via an online link sent before check-in.
