DAMAGE DEPOSIT:
As part of our booking policy, we kindly request a damage deposit for your stay at Mare Nostrum. Upon check-in, a temporary hold will be placed on your credit card for this deposit. No charge will be made unless damage is found during the check-out inspection. Please note the amount may appear as a pending transaction or temporary debit, depending on your bank’s policies.
We greatly value the maintenance of our property and aim to provide a pleasant experience for all guests. After your departure, if no damage is found, the hold will be released.
Please be aware that damage beyond normal wear and tear may result in deductions from the deposit.
We kindly inform guests that loss of the garage remote control incurs an €80 fee. Charges will also apply for towels damaged by makeup stains or hair dye. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to welcoming you at Mare Nostrum.
AIMA (Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum) and GUEST REGISTRATION:
All guests must provide identification to access the property.
To comply with Portuguese law, all guests must complete a form containing information required by AIMA.
FOR PORTUGUESE RESIDENTS: Submission of identification is mandatory for all guests regardless of residence. Failure to provide documents will prevent access to the property.
To simplify this process, we partner with [Vikey.it](http://vikey.it/), a trusted platform handling the registration. A few days before arrival, you will receive an email with a link to the form. Simply follow the instructions to complete it electronically. If you have difficulties, please contact us.
